Configuration your SSH Client
Do I need an SSH client?
The short answer to this question is, if you have to ask, the answer is no. SSH clients are only needed if you need to log into a shell to make changes to your account. You may also need an SSH client to change your password.
SecureCRT configuration
For users using Secure CRT , use the following settings:
- Protocol : ssh1
- Cipher : 3DES
- Authentication : TIS
PuTTY configuration
For users using PuTTY , use the following settings:
- (Session) Host Name: (use your domain name here, or www.hvinternet.com if you have no domain name)
- (Session) Protocol: SSH
- (Connection -> SSH -> Auth) Preferred SSH protocol version: 2
